At Play With Susie

It's the weekend and I want to play. I will play anything you like.
We'll take giant steps and twirl like monarchs and pick up sticks and shout home-free-all and rummy. We can kick cans and tag each other and freeze and hide and bounce spaldeens and hop on one foot and drop the potsie and count jacks.
We can toss frisbees and adjectives and build paragraphs and tree forts and spin out sentences. Play in the woods and play with words. We will roll in the field and roll
indoors, wrestle and climb, king of the mountain and queen under the covers.
We can go directly to jail and ride the Reading and buy red hotels and call for room service. We'll sell Kool-Aid because it's hot in July, and point the finger at Colonel Mustard and swing striped mallets and ditch the old maid. We can rub noses. We can muster armies and play doctor and shoot hoops and trade cards and trade them back again. We will send guilty stick figures to the gallows.
We can see who blinks first. It won't be me.
It's the weekend and I've waited all week to play.
